Listening to radio... Radio: Japanese scientists have returned moths taken into space. Me: ? odd, I guess they've had frogs up there, why not moths. Maybe it's research into pollinators? Radio: The moths have been in space for over 9 months. Me: Impressive, how long is a moth's lifespan? Radio: The scientist say they were impressed that even after being outside the space station for 9 months, when returned to the lab, the vast majority of the moths successfully grew and reproduced. Me: WFT? Radio: They predict, based on this data, that MOSS spores could survive up to 15 years in space and still grow healthily afterwards. Me: Shame, that would've been epic.
