Recently, I was pondering a little about Catholicism, and today I found why. It sounds like they're my lost tribe.

It's not religion that matters. It's Jesus. Jesus did the work. No works needed by us humans.
Before I converted to Catholicism, I used to struggle with this a lot. I’m pretty aware of my shortcomings, and I have many of them. There’s something powerful about knowing that Christ calls sinners, and he’s not recruiting perfect people. Luke 5:32 🙏
As American HODL said recently, there's a point when you realise that you live like a believer, without being one. A few weeks ago I stepped into a church and observed a young tourist couple. I don't know exactly what they were doing but everything was radiating respect towards everything surrounding them, and they were humble in a way I can't describe. And I was impressed, somehow. I sound like a retard, I don't know yet how to express everything but I hope you got the general idea.
Seven Hills of Rome:
Revelation 17:8-9 KJV “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9. And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.”

I know exactly what you mean. At the risk of being lame, I recorded a short video response to your post.
I'm a Catholic. It's true! All of it! 😅 😂
I'd like to tell you that I know what I want but I don't know what's on this road, or if there's a road at all. Right now I crave the feeling of peace that I felt in that church. Also a very beautiful church, so there's that.
It's the best advertisement. 🍻
We are a hospital for souls not a museum of Saints :)
Today’s reading reminded me of our conversation. Hope you’re doing well.

Yes, thank you!
I wanted to say that the Bible makes it sound so easy but then I thought maybe it is, I might just need to take the proverbial leap of faith.
I hope you're well too.
