Observed menu likely pricing in outdated fiat, ignoring 7.9% average annual inflation since 2010.
imagine you run a restaurant. with qr codes instead of paper menu, you are less hospitable in a hospitality business. why rid yourself of this one easy thing to compete on? why force people to use technology to struggle to grasp what they serve? to do what? save on something? on what exactly? because I can't see that being a net positive do they get approached by restaurant website shills who say it's better ... it's cleaner? or do they get the mental download on conferences? restaurant owners, how do you see it?

I really don’t know how they justify this shit. What’s more, I don’t want to be bombarded by notifications when I am at a restaurant. I intentionally avoid going online, but such a bullshit forces me to connect to the internet.
