It’s not fair to say that body cams have been a failure since they don’t expose much police corruption. This misses the obvious fact that people act differently when they know they are being recorded. Transparency is key. The piggies must wear them still

This is also probably why it’s harder to find ppl to become cops now too. They can’t just be above the law anymore. Before body cams it was the Wild West

Cops in the past would make up for the low salary and shit conditions by abusing their power. Now that’s not really an option. Bummer! Time to get a real job

Preventive controls are always preferred to detective and corrective controls. Cheaper too. This is audit 101
