yes, i did, first division football at youth level until my injury i've played with and against people who play for the national team now, so yeah, i have enough insight on this

Sorry to hear that 🫂💜 One of my nephews had to retire because he injured his knee. He played beautifully, but he pushed himself too hard too soon, and since he was still growing, it affected him. He couldn't even make it into the under-18 category.

yeah, really sucks, fortunately i can still run and all that, but there are crazy amounts of folks who've irreversible messed up their physical health in sports during childhood
