I'm referring to how money, as a proxy for value and time, is how humans organize beyond the dunbar number of 150 people. It's a way we engender relationships, trust, value, and service beyond our possible social networks and cultures. And while I agree, money solely viewed as a means to buy things and acquire stuff for us as individuals is "just money" and a moot pursuit on its own. What money actually is, how money works, and what money means for the collective human endeavor has great impact on how we as a species create war or not, create suffering or not, or simply create or not. And so I'm referring to the trite response to this video, and the story I told myself was that behind your response was something along the lines of "why do people seem to care so much about money and create and appreciate such an involved dramatic video because "fuck, its just money man." Well it is, and life is just life. Might as well be involved in beautifying it.🤷
