I completely disagree. The biggest threat to bitcoin is soft-forking something in that can be exploited or has unintended effects. Bitcoin should be feature complete. That is not the same as ossification. Maintenance is necessary, but new features are not. There is an ancient wisdom. "If it aint broken, don't fix it". You should study that wisdom.

In a way we agree with you… What about the unknowns unknowns? When they come to light should we fix them?
