A room you've read goes quiet, one with new messages shows a number. Your read state syncs across devices, encrypted to yourself — nobody else can see what you've read. And the notifications finally tell the truth: • No more alerts for messages you already read. The background check used to start from the moment you last opened a screen, not from what you had actually read — so the badge said zero while your phone still buzzed. Measured on a device and fixed at the root. • Quiet rooms are no longer drowned out by busy ones. • Notifications clear themselves when you open the app. Project support rooms moved behind their own "Discover" entry instead of crowding the room list — their unread counts ride along on it.
