Some people have broken free and formed a community on Nostr . RSS feeds rising from the ashes to save us from curated algorithms. However, social media is not enough. It’s only the beginning.
The golden age of the internet has passed, but in 2025 it seems like we’re entering a new era. Humans didn’t discover fire only to live in fear of being burned by flames. We learned to tend to the flames, use it to our advantage. Now we face the same challenges, the next game changer: the internet.

I’ve been watching Compute for Humans and liked their video about De-Googling their life. As a normie I would say my base knowledge of this was just proton mail but it’s cool seeing how many open source programs are available to us.
