I believe the future of content moderation on decentralized social media platforms like Nostr is users being able to generate custom moderation algorithms by using AI prompts. Here’s how it could work: The user inputs a text prompt to the AI chatbot about what kind of content they want to see. Then the AI generates a completely custom moderation algorithm specifically tailored for the user. The user might even have multiple algorithms to switch between in the Nostr client, depending on the desired content. Maybe sometimes you don’t want to be using an algorithm at all. Of course, users should be able to completely disable moderation as well. After all, the essence of decentralized platforms is user control.
