I know someone who said they genuinely developed a taste for non-alcoholic beer. Apparently they found a recipe with tomato juice that they said was really good.
Me personally, when I turned 21 I went to a bar and ordered an alcohol free beer. Maybe they are also just drinking it to flex. "Look at all this stuff I'm drinking that COULD have alcohol but doesn't!"

That's super reasonable bro. Why do you think I've never had any alcohol? I've been committed to being a "recovering alcoholic" my entire life! Sometimes it's a struggle... My family has tried to pressure me into drinking... But somehow through pure strength of will I managed to push through...
