oh that sucks, I thought AMD was great on Linux. Windows is a no-brainer for gaming, but I can't stand it

It runs Vulkan well, but that's the thing, Linux relies on and prefers "old and stable" vs "new and experimental" Like DX 11/12 aren't that new, but Linux support is almost not there. To get games to work, you have to jangle and tweak and custom set everything, which is why windows runs games well because they just bloat the system with everything, whether you need the driver or not Imo if I had more patience and time, I could download all my games etc. Linux is great for working and browsing (though brave also crashes) I have it dual booting now,
