Some people ask "Why do we need identities on the Bitcoin blockchain?"
I ask "Why do we need money on the Bitcoin blockchain?"

I've heard this critique before. It reminds me of Peter Schiff's critique of Bitcoin. Yes link an address to Mars, link it to the best protocol.
Either way, there's an urgent need to replace DNS and HTTPS.
NOSTR is a great step, but it still heavily relies on DNS and HTTPS. I'm on Primal.net right now. HTTPS signed by a centralized certificate authority and resolving through a centralized domain name system (DNS).
We're naïve to think we'll have a decentralized world economy through these 2 systems.
We won't be using our Bitcoin to transact P2P without decentralized solutions like Spaces Protocol.
Spaces Protocol might not win out in the end, it relies on human adoption, but it's the best implementation to a very real problem I've seen so far.
Between Handshake, PKDNS/PKARR, this Spaces Protocol (I'm just learning about), and all those ENS/freename/unstoppable/etc. ones it's a super interesting space!
