This is also what we do on @Eve except that it's a literal OS you literally install on your computer. And the point of Eve Is to be a tool for closed community networks; the apps are community based, built with a similar concept to what you're doing too, but you have the benefit of instant speed due to the replication layer. All data on Eve, for each community you're part of, is stored on your device (including the apps that communities can install from the app store, or even private, community specific ones)
