Started to. Couldn't get into it. I had just read Dune again and Mandibles didn't stack up.

I gotta read Dune. Everyone loves it.
The first three Dune books are worth the read. I first read them in the 80s when I was in high school.
The Mandibles is great. Also Patriots by James Rawles is good too, though more prepper/survivalist oriented.
