Episode 2 started with banter and chatter … but then, Rachel talked about her experience going on a road trip with some friends, and going to see a tarot card reader just for fun.
*trigger warning: topic of family illness and death* 🙁

The person right off the bat, flipped over the first card and told her, someone in your family will die in the next 6 months. (Rachel’s dad had recently been diagnosed with Cancer, and it turned out that he did die in 5 months.) So, the consensus between the 3 people on the podcast (Rachel, Irene, and Amy) was that the tarot person - any tarot person, should not say this kind of thing to people… and certainly not as the very first thing.
I think I agree. At least start with a more general statement like, ‘you may experience a difficult loss this year’ and leave it at that? It’s ok to be blunt, but that’s just cruel. *sigh* Glad that she can talk about it now with some humor.
