Fediverse (of which mastodon in part of) is pretty cool, that’s actually been my online home since 2019, although I tend to spend more time here now, I still use ActivityPub (the protocol) for a number of things, it does lean left overall, which is a problem for some but doesn’t bother me. Filters work better there than here so you can curate the feed pretty well. There’s a well established music scene on the platform which is cool. Like anywhere there’s pros and cons. There’s still the occasional scammer and a few trolls. Many people, especially here, have an issue with the federated model so if total free speech is your thing, you may struggle with it. Unfortunately, for the most part, folks there are very anti Bitcoin and don’t distinguish Bitcoin from crypto at all.
