Nice. 13x13 is a good board size. 9x9 games seem so restrictive that the games lack a ton of variation, especially when accounting for equivalent flips and rotations. I made a 9x9 out of clay like 20 years ago. It is modeled as a courtyard contained by 4 โ€œGreat Wall of Chinaโ€ wall sections with towers at the 4 corners. I made it to be a โ€œbeginnerโ€™s boardโ€ that easily leads to discussion of how Weiqi/Go is related to the GWoC. 19x19 takes much longer to get through. Itโ€™s great for veteran vs veteran games but for novices and journeymen, 13x13 is a much better board size.
