Some serious talent pushes the development. Getting 16 QPR1 that quickly after release and production Pixel 10 support in the coming weeks is no small feat. Some major features being developed too.
wait aren’t you a graphene dev?
That what his profile says...
I'm part of the GrapheneOS Foundation (see: GrapheneOS matrix account) but I'm not developing but working on their operations side of things. I do look at what is happening internally with development.
Outside of GrapheneOS I work in digital forensics for a security operations center. That takes up most of my time and that's where my passion sits. If you see any technical content by the project then chances are I'm the one who wrote some of it.
Almost all GrapheneOS developers aren't online facing anymore due to violent attacks and credible threats on the few people that did work under their real name, so it's mostly just me or MetropleX on my lonesome.
🫡🫡🫡 read you loud n clear on thenostr, appreciate. 🦅🦆🕊️
Was here way before doing anything for GrapheneOS! What I was doing on Stacker News got the team's attention.
Nice ah yeah sorry I thought you were a mastadon refugee for a second, but I have been following for a while, I also follow that one npub from the mastadon bridge, the official grapheneOS, I love their updates too. The one good thing, mastodon bridge ever did :)
Can you tell us more about this?
The founder of GrapheneOS was swatted (prank calling armed police to their location to try and escalate an attack) multiple times up to April 2023.
A past contributor received bogus legal threats to himself sent to his university, which he released:

The current GrapheneOS lead developer is Ukrainian who had been conscripted in the war there.
We've been aware of people in other projects recieving a toxic working environment. The DivestOS developer quit over this.
I can't thank you all enough for what you're doing. Incredibly important work.
When you're taking on the cartels, this is the result.
