You shouldn’t have your time and energy (excess or otherwise) stolen from you in ways you don’t comprehend, by a single system of centralized control and distribution that obligates participation and obfuscates what your excess output does. Sovereignty doesn’t just happen through. There are many doors to choose from, some built already. Some you may want to build yourself. Now that you have come to this awareness, what will you do?
