Does this one filter for songs that use lightning address vs keysend? From what I understood on the pod, keysend is not used much anymore? I also noticed that most feeds still use keysend from my initial interactions with the API.

It doesn't. Most feeds do have keysend still which is why Fountain or Alby are the only wallet solutions we can use for sending sats.
