Theres nothing wrong with it as a gateway to actual coding - and by that I mean understanding the code and being able to secure it, debug it and optimize performance. But IMO it should be viewed as that, a gateway. Just the same as for many people entering bitcoin .. custodial is a gateway to self-custody.
