the book is "The Naked Truth About Vaccines: A Father and Son's Life-Changing Story" , one hell of a gut-punch read that flipped a lot of us from "trust the science" to "question everything" real quick.

The one I read was called Louder than Words: A Mother's Journey in Healing Autism. A bit heavy - she didn't hold back. Very good for understanding what a diagnosis process can be like for a family.
