I don't know, the nature of Nostr, it probably (total guess) has a significantly high reactivation/ long dormancy count accounts. There's lots of people who come back to check in after long periods of being AWOL.
Just my opinion.

I totally agree actually. The list it generated was MUCH longer, I only purged a few that I didn't recognize.
Also, I'm not sure discovery is good enough for me to re-find people if they do come back. My follow list is PoW over time.
Yeah, the chances of you finding/seeing the posts if they come back is really low:(
