It's always the disadvantaged that are used as guinea pigs, coerced by force or desperation - prison populations, the poor, young, unemployed, pensioners. Then on to the working and middle classes. "To be eligible for this project, individuals must be... with an income... not exceeding 70,000 baht per month or 840,000 baht per year." No ID, no spending. Spending is also controlled - they can only spend "within their districts according to their ID card." So users are geofenced whereas "shops receiving digital money can spend it outside their districts or anywhere else." The global digital prison awaits us all!

I've been talking about all this with my mrs for years, she's sick of hearing about it, but now here we are it's right in front of our faces. it makes me feel sick to my stomach and I hope that it somehow falls apart but, Thailand has a whole army of safari shirt wearing little hitlers that are just going to love this shit.

Very hard when you have a family not cognizant of what's going on, but perhaps developing a Plan B to move to another jurisdiction is in order? Although with the current globalist plan, you might have to look at either buying your own space station, or some sort of camper-van setup on the moon.
