Not a girlfriend AI, but a friend AI, literally called "friend", has ads in the subway. They have been defaced with messages about AI not being a good replacement for a real friend, and it being a surveillance device (which it is, to a truly concerning degree). See Louis Rossmann's recent video about it. Comments to said video are fun to read, they include many like "they named it "friend" because "Big Brother" was already taken".
