Yeah they opened welfare offices and public housing and yes methadone clinics. The town used to be 80% french canadian, 20% polish. Videos from the 50s and 60s look like Leave it to Beaver, beautiful art deco brickwork main street, everyone in suits, working for the mill. Now the mill is in china, whole town is basically a puerto rican ODing on fent. Zero semblance of civility, the only stores are owned by indians and arabs, the courtesy level of people walking and driving looks like the slums of fuckin Lagos. Wish so badly someone would go full 1488 out here mane. Not that anything will ever get better....
