I had years when I would wake up in the middle of the night from back pain. Basically my "fillets" were aching like hell. I was reasonably fit and tried a lot of things to get rid of this pain. You'd be surprised how many people have their weakness exposed with just this 12 minute exercise. After about a week, you should see it getting easier and after 2weeks, you will notice measurable increase in your overall strength. You are right, hip flexors are key!
