As a follow-up to my previous post: Filtering and content-weighting algorithms are essential — but they must never be done centrally. This applies to #Nostr clients, nostr nodes and the protocoll itself as well. If I want to onboard my family to #Nostr, I need the ability to filter disturbing content from images, videos, and text. If I want to improve my own user experience, I need to be able to sort my feed according to my own values. Neither a node nor a client-side database should make these decisions for me.
