I think I said this before, but I still find it curious that politicians are able to play the long term attrition policy when it's about citizen's rights. Usually they try to grab what they can while they are in power but here they all seem to agree.
I was on the streets demonstrating when the German Pirate Party formed like 20? years ago and politics still didn't change their game.
