End of Watch (2012) is one of the most authentic police dramas I’ve ever seen!
The film’s strongest element is the genuine camaraderie between its two leads. The dialogue between them is some of the most realistic “bro talk” you’ll ever find in film: raw, uncensored, and believable.
Another striking thing about this movie is the way it was filmed. It has a documentary-like approach, with handheld and body-cam footage woven organically into the narrative.
End of Watch is gripping, unconventional, and feels real and authentic.
