It did. For now I have solved the problem. I can pull the mp3 out of the rss feed - stick it into Reaper and deal with it like any other track in my DAW. I have to make some other adjustments then I can use the split tool in Pod home to add splits for the music. Once I try and go live down the road .. that’s a lot more issues. Not ready for that..
