It’s not a perfect analogy but it think it is close to reality between physical and digital. Some properties of physical cannot be duplicated in the digital and some properties of digital cannot be duplicated in the physical.

yeah everything has different properties that change the way people interact with it and analogies only go so far. but given the incentive structure, seems highly likely Bitcoin becomes a chain where people store data they don't want to lose.
