I'm not sure of Bryan Johnson's true goals, but he certainly isn't acting like someone who's trying to maximise their longevity. Hitting top 1% targets for 18 year olds isn't just unnecessary, it's probably counterproductive (esp in ridiculous stuff like nighttime erections LOL). If the goal is to feel young he's probably going about things the right way, but there's some weak evidence that whole blood donation extends lifespan. https://scienceblog.com/joshmitteldorf/2015/11/09/does-donating-blood-extend-your-life-expectancy/

I watched his docu, and he is cray about it all. I hung out with a group of immortalists a bit, even attended RaadFest for a few years, which they put on. Their mindset toward living was attractive, very positive people overall. I guess they end up extending healthspan in striving to extend lifespan, so that is good. But Bryan is far beyond anyone I ever knew. I am not sure of his goals either, but his striving looks more like mental illness.
