I’d like to see an escape room with a Bitcoin challenge.. it can include Satoshi, then the block size war .. sending money.. unlocking a wallet etc but that could be fun If someone takes this idea and makes it happen I’d only ask you for an invite

I think that current inflation levels in bitcoin are so low that any subsequent halving would have no meaningful impact Therefore cycles associated to halving may continue as part of an inertia but should eventually fade away View quoted note β†’

What’s going on with Monero? If they manage to 51% attack it’s a message to other coins I guess as it sounds a cheap way to get control over the chain Although under such attack either they fork somehow or it has no value?

What makes simplex chat good? Any review that would show why that is any better than other? I have it on my phone and it does look pro privacy but is it really better/stronger?

@npub1qh5s...eh9r why do you think l1 will allow fee payments in stablecoins if that would go against the interest of VCs and whales?

How can Bitcoiners be sometimes so narrow minded? I am a bitcoiner but how can someone think that having more bitcoin node implementations gaining traction organically become an β€œattack on bitcoin”? This is fucking open source tech.. having only one node is one possible option but definitively not the only setup possible @npub198au...0p3g image

Starting to think that Spark has an opportunity to simplify most wallets UX Given the complexity of setting up a self custodial lighting wallet, most of us ended up using custodial ones but with spark you can have something very close to self custody while keeping ux ultra simple so it’ll be much better than using a custodial one Looking forward to seeing how it evolves

I have a question: Is hashrate a relevant metric to measure Network's Strengh? I think is not but interested in hearing counter arguments here Why Not? - Because the only real thing that matters is how much money an adversary would need to attack the network and that is measured in terms of money needed on electricty and hardware plus infra - Hashrate will continue to grow even if the network total strengh goes down. One of the latest AntMiners is capable of producing 10X or even more than previous versions of antminers so if I see hashrate going up 10x may simply mean that I have replaced equipement without having spent more money to support the network
