I gotta say, I'm stunned at how some folks seem to be on Nostr continually. At any point in the day or night, I can check in and count on certain nostriches to be here, noting something or other. It's like their actual job is to post on Nostr. That's fine and all, I'm just a little envious and wonder how can they do that every day? More power to 'em.

My Actifit Report Card: May 5 2025 My zinnias are done and look like this now. Bimut that's okay. I'm letting them dry out good then I'll snip them off and save the seeds to reuse when the summer rains start. ![](https://use... read full note: Auto cross-post via Hostr bridge v0.0.13 at

Warren Buffett is retiring. On May 5, 2018, he called #bitcoin "rat poison ... ... squared." If he'd put $1000 in BTC and $1000 in his own company BRK-A, he'd have $9457 or $1837 respectively. Bitcoin would have given him 5+ times more... read full note: Auto cross-post via Hostr bridge v0.0.13 at

My horse race prediction was okay, but not 100% correct (5th place out of 20). My ... ... pope prediction...I guess we'll find out starting tomorrow. I predicted Luis Antonio Tagle will be the next pope. We shall see... Those who want the OP_RETURN limit to be relaxed say, "Let the free market decide: if someone pays to store some data in a block, so be it. The free market has spoken by voting with their coin." Those who want the OP_RETURN to stay as it is say, "Let the free market decide which bitcoin software to use, Core or Knots. If people choose to use Knots, the free market has spoken against Core's blockchain bloat and data storage. The free market has spoken by voting with their feet." To me, both seem to say the same thing: let the free market decide. Am I wrong?

My Actifit Report Card: May 1 2025 When I was a kid we enjoyed making kites every once in a while and then flying them. My father showed me a way to make a kite. He called it a doodle bug. And he used 2 sticks and a pie... read full note: Auto cross-post from Hive via Hostr v0.0.11 at

In the bitcoin world, people seem to be wound pretty tightly right now. The ... ... OP_RETURN debate seems to be spilling over...normally temperate folks are getting testy and rather nasty at times.
