I’ve found that stepping away from X and mainstream news is a massive boost for my energy and happiness. It feels like every headline is engineered to spark a political reaction or manipulate our emotions. Instead of getting caught up in the outrage of the day—wherever it's coming from—I’m focusing on getting my own shit together. There’s so much more value in improving our immediate circles than in pouring energy into distant stories we can’t control.
First came the Clicks Communicator, and now the Unihertz Titan 2 Elite. 2026 is the year of keyboard phones—turning back the clock to when phones were communication devices, and not time-sucking, soul-sucking slabs. View quoted note →
Happy New Year! The 🟢🟢🟢🔴 has come to an end, but don't worry: your local influencer says it's only 🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢 from here because of the super cycle! The 2026 Nostr Super Cycle starts now! Love you all. Start your New Year off right!
Good morning, Nostr. Who's running local LLMs? What are the best models that can run at home for coding on a beefy PC system? In 2026, I want to dig into local LLMs more and stop using Claude and Gemini as much. I know I can use Maple for more private AI, but I prefer running my own model. I also like the fact there are no restrictions on these models ran locally. I know hardware is the bottleneck here; hopefully, these things become more efficient.
I grew up on AOL Instant Messenger and I’m tempted to vibe code a Nostr app that’s identical—same features, same door opening/closing sounds, lol. Has anyone done this yet? It’d be so cool to use it for private messaging. I haven't kept up, but how far have private DMs come on Nostr lately? I know we have a NIP for statuses, which was a notorious feature on AIM.
