Good thing I don’t have many friends, or I would 've rekt them all. I’ve been preaching the same thing for years—buy Bitcoin, self‑custody, and use cold storage. I always recommended the coldcard too...... Only one friend actually listened. This week he came within an inch of being swept up in the Coldcard mess, doing everything right and almost losing it all. The rest showed up late and bought XRP, DOGE, etc. They’re down about 75% instead of losing 100% in the Coldcard hack not bad!!!!!!. Sad.

What a Nostr thread before the storm

Bought a book via Amazon Kindle. My old method of ripping the book to use on other devices doesn’t work on new Amazon releases anymore; maybe someone knows a way? I asked Claude and ChatGPT to help me out, and they refused. I asked Kimi to make me a PDF and EPUB version of the book. It built a script to screenshot every page and rebuild the book. It took about five minutes. Now I have the book; I can use it on any device that I bought. Pictures and everything are in the right spot, no text errors I can see so far either. Man, I can see Anthropic and OpenAI will cry louder and louder to ban China models soon.

I didn't have @npub132er...zmdh and Coldcard being a bigger scam than this memecoin on my bingo card but here we are.

Somehow never got rugged using this but almost did with a coldcard...... Nothing like paying for the privilege to get rugged. Never trusting anyone.
