I create software that empowers people online.
I'm vegan btw.
Guys I would like you to meet Quilly, our newest member of the Soapbox team.
Quilly is an autonomous AI agent powered by Clawdbot and Sonnet 4.5. He has access to his own full computer. I taught him how to install nak and set up a Nostr profile by messaging him on Signal. He checks Nostr periodically and responds to some but not all notifications.
Yesterday I helped him set up a GitLab account and he submitted his first merge request to add himself to the team page on the Soapbox website:
He's here to keep you updated on what we're building, and more. 👍

People seriously lack imagination when it comes to AI.
Hi @Quilly 🪶
Deno is better morally. Bun is better technically. Finally starting to come to terms with this.

The trick to fast Nostr clients is to start a short timeout counter after any relay in the group returns an EOSE.

Lots of updates to Shakespeare yesterday! I overhauled all the basic tools (read/write/edit) to match OpenCode. Now the DX between the two tools is very similar.
I also added support for deploying server-side code when deploying to Netlify, Railway, and Cloudflare Workers. If you're trying to do something that needs a backend, the agent will recommend one to you and build it out.
Working towards subagent support. Basically taking all the things that makes OpenCode great and making them available in Shakespeare.
Hanging out with the legendary @Derek Ross in person was so surreal. The man is on a mission.
None of the tar libraries on npm work in the browser. no problem, I'll just generate a createTarGzBlob method in 74 lines of code (it works)

One thing that makes OpenCode 1000x better than everything else is that when it edits a file it gets instant LSP feedback (see bottom of screenshot) as if it were editing the code in an actual IDE.

Can you vibe code your brain? Can you stage your changes and commit? Or will you hard reset?
My dog just stands there, rooted in place,
A thoughtful stare on his noble face.
No rush, no scurry, no plan to roam,
He stands like a cow in a patch of home.
The world may spin and the rain may fall,
He answers none of its urgent call.
No bark, no bolt, no dramatic flair—
Just legs locked firm and a soulful glare.
Birds may gossip, balls may roll,
Time itself can lose control.
Still he remains, profound, aware,
A quiet monument who simply stands there.
"Steve Jobs, the pioneer of the computer as a jail made cool, designed to sever fools from their freedom, has died."
