🇸🇦🇾🇪🇾🇪Leaked Saudi government cables published by Drop Site News reveal the existence of a secret Saudi committee that has overseen the kingdom's Yemen policy since 1962 and how they handled the conflict against the Houthis (Ansarallah).
Then-Defense Minister Salman bin Abdulaziz directed the committee in January 2012 to deepen divisions between northern Yemen's Zaydi community and Salafi groups, while supporting tribes fighting Ansarallah (the Houthis) and ensuring the conflict did not appear to be a Saudi-backed Sunni-Shia war.
The cables describe Saudi funding, weapons, and support for anti-Houthi forces, as well as monthly payments to tribal leaders and intelligence reports used to shape Riyadh's long-term strategy in Yemen. They also claim former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh secretly backed the Houthis as a counterweight to Salafi forces.
The covert conflict later escalated into the 2015 Saudi-led military intervention, backed by the U.S. and other coalition partners.
Despite years of fighting, Ansarallah continues to control much of northern Yemen, including the capital, Sana'a.Boeing Network Supplied Weapons, Mercenaries to Sudanese Paramilitary(RSF): UN

Russia's Foreign Minister Lavrov:
They promise one thing and do another. We've already gotten used to it—or at least we should have. But every time, in the spirit of the Russian soul, you still want to believe in the best.
But eventually, patience runs out. And not without reason. Shortly after the start of the special military operation,
President Putin summed it up: "Things will never again be as they were before February 2022."
🇺🇸— SpaceX plans to launch up to 1 million satellites into low Earth orbit to create a space-based AI data center powered by solar energy, NBC News reports.
➡️ The company argues that orbital computing could eventually become cheaper than Earth-based data centers.
➡️ However, scientists and astronomers have raised concerns that the project could significantly increase space collision risks, release large amounts of vaporized spacecraft material into Earth's atmosphere as satellites re-enter, and allow a single company to dominate a substantial portion of usable orbital space.
🇮🇷🇴🇲 — Iran has rejected Oman's Gulf-backed proposal for the joint management of the Strait of Hormuz, with a senior Iranian official telling Reuters the plan was "unreasonable."
➡️ The official said the proposed 50-50 control arrangement with Oman would not serve Iran's interests. Instead, Tehran is seeking sole control over the inbound shipping lane and partial control over the outbound lane.

🇷🇺 Pavel Durov (Telegram CEO) has been declared wanted internationally, according to the FSB.
Durov has been charged with a crime related to assisting terrorist activities. 🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺🇮🇷⚡️ — The U.S. Senate voted 86-12 to advance the bipartisan bill championed by the late Senator Lindsey Graham that would impose tougher sanctions on Russia and Iran.
I wonder if the message is now clear to China. The US will never negotiate in good faith, its not about whats good for citizens, or even whats good for the state of a country, its decisions made for multi national oligarchs.
➡️ The procedural vote came hours after senators honored Graham's memory and immediately following a closed-door meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky, who watched the vote from the Senate chamber.
➡️ The bill would authorize 100% secondary tariffs on countries that continue purchasing Russian oil and natural gas, target Russia's "shadow fleet" of oil tankers used to evade sanctions, and renew U.S. sanctions on Iran that are due to expire at the end of the year.
Iran is expected to receive 300–400 Chinese MANPADS (QW-12 and FN-16 models) in a $60–70M deal, with first shipments due within weeks via Urumqi through Pakistan.
The contract runs through a Hong Kong intermediary, Zhongqing Baoshang.
China and Pakistan deny the report.

The European Commission has refused to ease sanctions against Russia to allow maintenance of Russian Ka-32 helicopters, used to fight forest fires in Spain.
Madrid authorities had requested an exemption but were refused.
In Spain, more than 121,000 people have been forced to abandon their homes due to the spread of the fires.
The burned area in Madrid and Ávila alone exceeded 45,000 hectares.
Portugal was also unable to provide assistance, having transferred its six Ka-32s to Ukraine.
🇧🇷 Brazilian President Lula calls for a long-term national defense strategy to protect Brazil’s territory, oil reserves, pre-salt fields and critical minerals:
“If we have no defense, we cannot protect what belongs to us. One day, someone may decide to invade us, and we will be unprepared.
Who is going to protect our oil? Who is going to protect the pre-salt fields?”
Lula argued that Brazil must modernize its Armed Forces, strengthen its domestic defense industry and invest in science and technology rather than remain dependent on the military capabilities of foreign powers.
“You think I want to fight China? I’m not crazy.
You think I want to fight the United States? I’m not crazy.
I don’t have the aircraft they have. I don’t have the tanks they have. I don’t have the bombs they have. I don’t have the money they have, and I still don’t have the scientific and technological knowledge they have.
Instead of fighting them, I want to defeat them by studying more, investing more and conducting more research than they do.”
Lula made the remarks during the 78th Annual Meeting of the Brazilian Society for the Advancement of Science in Niterói.
🇮🇱🇺🇸Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
I have just finished an excellent meeting with President Trump. When I say excellent, it's not just lip service.
A conversation with full partnership, with mutual support, with an understanding of the common goal of ensuring that Iran will not have nuclear weapons, as well as other goals.
One of the best conversations I've ever had with a President of the United States, our friend Donald Trump.
His entire senior team was there, as was our senior team, and here too was an opportunity to exchange ideas and also to coordinate things that are important for the security and future of the State of Israel.
