had an interesting conversation today with my brother, we were talking about palestine. a thought came to me, technically every bank in palestine is controlled by israel, and they use primarily the israeli currency. imagine, and i know this is unrealistic, but imagine if palestinians agreed that they should start using bitcoin as their currency to trade between each other. i obviously know that this would probably be shut down pretty fast by the occupation. they want the palestinians to be under their full control. but imagine if things like rent and electricity and water and whatever else were paid for by the fiat currency because they track that, and things like restaurant meals, basic payments, tips, etc. were all in bitcoin, it is a great step in the right direction

when someone asks me what nostr is i dont even know how to explain it theres too much to explain, me personally i got the hang of nostr by using it, but before using it, i had NO idea what it was. i used it because someone i knew used it. it might just be me but i feel like more people would go on nostr and actually prefer it over centralized apps if they understood what it was, nostr is complicated.

we need everything on nostr whatever twitter has, bring it to nostr, and away from twitter. gaming accounts, news accounts, memes accounts, celebrities, micro celebrities, content creators, etc. i know some of you want to keep nostr "niche" and dead, but thats the completely wrong mindset to have. nostr needs to grow exponentially everyday.
