big companies are now genuinely trying to sell cloud computers. like a laptop but you don't own it, its owned by the company that's renting you the laptop. this is so unbelievably ridiculous and whats even worse is that some people buy them! you're spending more by using their service than if you just bought a computer and owned it forever. self sovereignty online is so important and the more people fail to realize it the more motivation for corporations to stop letting you own what you rightfully should own! and im not saying that you should outright quit using any cloud service or should stop using popular social media, no. but what im saying is dont let your livelihood online be on these services because YOU'RE the one whos losing, even if it seems more convenient.

people on X treating bitcoin going down like its the world ending. it's only happened like a quadrillion times and only came back up like a bajillion times but either way the way they perceive bitcoin is flawed anyways, because from their pov now you're losing all your money, but bitcoin isn't just an investment bitcoin IS money. same thing happens with fiat everyday, inflation, prices fly up, and now your money is worth less.
