Heres how it goes down from here... -Knots users remain a serious dissenting voice -v30 never gains much traction -knots sees new devs coming on. -the fairly silent (so far) dissenting core devs fork core... Reverse the datacarrier changes and likely fix the segwit bug. -node runners choose mostly between the core fork and knots -some still run librerelay and orig core -laggard devs who were more ambivalent about the change move to the two dominant forks -shit still finds its way onto the chain, but less so. -miners tighten countermeasures against risky transactions from the mempool -out of band transactions remain through things like slipstream. APIs and through the minority of nodes In the end, as many on both sides have predicted, it will not matter much. Some devs and "influencers" will have harmed their reputations beyond repair. This is likely the biggest effect in the end. And its a good thing. The corn's immune system is strengthened. Nature is healing. Bitcoin is fine. Amen.
