I really do not like running with my mobile phone - it’s somewhat bulky… too big to keep in a pocket and I don’t like waistbands for storing it. So this time I just left the phone at home and went without being online for the race (I can pay with my watch). It was a great adventure - we had to plan where to meet my friend, make sure we had a plan in case we got lost and returning home without access to night bus and tram schedules online was just a great experience. You look up schedules at stops ask people (who were actually really helpful) and use all kinds of brain activities that you usually don’t if you have access to the vast internet knowledge on your phone. Great experience!

My Wrocław Night Half Marathon project is done. I’m really happy that I managed to finish the race a few seconds below 1:41:30 which means I beat my goal time by over a minute. Despite a few glitches with how the race was organized it had hands down the best course ever - lightning fast!
