Rainy day today.
I've never understood why people are afraid of the rain. They'll hop in the shower no problem, but they run from rain like it's caustic. It's just water. It's kind of nice to get rained on.

Repurposed a dead meme account for me to share a little piece of my IRL world with those interested. Real people living real lives.
Also considering participating in the circular economy. Might later I dunno.
I hope silicon valley falls into the ocean.
Haven't posted in a while. I feel bad about that. I really am unsure just how much I should be sharing of my life, since this identity is strictly a "me IRL" feed to those interested, it's mostly going to be beach, family, bicycle stuff, gardening, and maybe, one day, I'll sell something I like to make. Not sure. Plants? Honey? I'd sell wine here if I could without going to jail, but I'm not trying to get licensed for commercial booze production so that is incredibly unlikely.
Living for yourself is spiritually vapid.
There is a firefly in my room.
Pretty sure I just tore my bicep. Ugh.
Good with the bad.
So I just realized, lots of people I'd want to interact with won't see my posts or replies because Web of Trust.
What does a new npub have to do to actually begin, you know, social networking?
The world from where I sit.

So, I just randomly decided to do an online search for "cholesterol medication and skin cancer" because I've heard that your body creates vitamin D from cholesterol with sun exposure and wondered if it's possible that taking cholestorol lowering drugs increases risk for skin cancer. I was surprised to find dozens of studies correlating statin consumption and skin cancer, and none that correlate high cholesterol and skin cancer. Mind blown.
@atyh thank you for putting me onto this line of investigation, if I hadn't heard of this connection between cholestorol and vitamin D production I never would've gone down this path.
