🌊 SURF 'N TURF 🏝️ -THE BORACAY ISLAND LIFE- image "To write is to forget. Literature is the most agreeable way of ignoring life. Music soothes, the visual arts exhilarates, the performing arts (such as acting and dance) entertain. Literature, however, retreats from life by turning in into slumber. The other arts make no such retreat— some because they use visible and hence vital formulas, others because they live from human life itself. This isn't the case with literature. Literature simulates life. A novel is a story of what never was, a play is a novel without narration. A poem is the expression of ideas or feelings a language no one uses, because no one talks in verse." ~Fernando Pessoa, The Book of Disquiet "Pure signal, no noise" Credits Goes to the respective Author ✍️/ Photographer📸 🐇 🕳️

🌊 SURF 'N TURF 🏝️ -THE BORACAY ISLAND LIFE- image Art Himsl's 1937 Chris Craft Zeppelin Roadliner Motorhome Is One Of A Kind, aeronautically inspired motorhome. image It looks more like a child of the fifties, but was born in 1937. Originally built as a prototype by a boat mechanic at a San Francisco Chris-Craft and intended to be a manufactured house car, but production was halted by World War II. image It was designed with a lightweight aluminum skeleton covered in "Grade A" linen aircraft fabric, resembling early airplanes and the Goodyear blimp. image The fabric was stretched over the entire body except for metal around the windows. The original power plant was a Plymouth six-cylinder engine rated at 82 hp. image The vehicle was registered as a Plymouth House Car and was first put into service in 1942. Today, Zeppelin is owned by Art Himsl, a famous custom car builder. Art Himsl and a good friend, Ed Green, saw the rear end sticking out of a barn in Napa Valley, California, in 1968. image At first, the car was used as an office in its current state. In 1999, a comprehensive renovation was carried out. image Today the immaculately presented Zeppelin boasts a 350cubic inch V8 Chevy engine, push button automatic transmission, air-ride suspension, a refrigerator, microwave oven and front and rear air bags. image The motorhome has two doors, one on each side, behind the driver and front passenger seats. The interior has two leather bench seats, one on each side of the vehicle. The table drops down to access a queen bed. Art Himsl also installed a rear-view camera, and even a little propeller on the back. There are no bathroom facilities. image The outer shell – originally a mixture of steel and fabric – is in “Stitz Poly-Fiber”, a plastic material, effectively painted by Himsl himself. The primary color is a candy apple red with a cream top and wide accent panel covering the midsection of the body. In that midsection, outlined in wide orange and black paint is the answer to a viewer’s first two questions: who owns it and what is it? image It modestly states in bold, but muted lettering “HIMSL ZEPPELIN 1937 ROADLINER.” image The wheel arches are not original, the car originally lacked front wheel arches. In 2002 the renovation was completed and the car was renamed “1937 Himsl Zeppelin Roadliner”. image It is considered one of the most eccentric and well-known custom motorhomes ever created, functioning as a true piece of rolling history. What do you think? And he said 'That's very nice son, but there's enough of these Americanisms around. Couldn't you sing 'She loves you, yes, yes, yes!' At which point we collapsed in a heap and said 'No, Dad, you don't quite get it!'" 🌊 SURF 'N TURF 🏝️ -THE BORACAY ISLAND LIFE- Most men over 60 need 4-5 days to recover between intense workouts—but the elite 5% have discovered a rest method that cuts recovery time to 36-48 hours while building muscle faster and eliminating chronic fatigue. This isn't about supplements, ice baths, or expensive recovery tools. It's a precise structured rest protocol that optimizes the four biological systems responsible for workout recovery after 60. This video reveals the exact method that allows certain men to train more frequently while recovering better than ever. You'll discover why passive rest destroys recovery capacity after 60, which four recovery systems determine how fast you bounce back from training, and the exact daily protocol that accelerates tissue repair, reduces inflammation, and maximizes muscle protein synthesis between sessions. Why Traditional Rest Fails After 60 The average man over 60 follows the same recovery approach from his younger years: finish a hard workout, do nothing for several days, wait until soreness disappears, then train again. This passive rest strategy worked at 30 but catastrophically fails after 60. Why? Because your recovery systems—neuromuscular, hormonal, inflammatory, and metabolic—all slow down dramatically with age and require active intervention to function optimally. Passive rest allows blood flow to decrease, inflammation to accumulate, muscle protein synthesis to plateau prematurely, and nervous system recovery to drag on unnecessarily. Meanwhile, joint stiffness increases, movement quality deteriorates, and the next workout feels harder than it should. Most men accept this as inevitable aging when it's actually failed recovery methodology. The Structured Rest Method That Triples Recovery Speed The elite 5% don't rest passively—they follow a precise active recovery protocol that targets all four recovery systems simultaneously. This method includes strategic movement protocols that maintain blood flow and nutrient delivery without creating training fatigue, sleep architecture optimization that maximizes growth hormone pulses and deep recovery cycles, nutrition timing strategies that extend the muscle protein synthesis window after training, and stress management techniques that prevent cortisol from blocking testosterone and sabotaging recovery. The key is structured intensity: doing just enough activity to enhance recovery without creating new fatigue. This looks like 20-30 minutes of zone 2 walking or cycling on off days, 10-15 minutes of dynamic stretching and mobility work morning and evening, strategic protein feedings every 3-4 hours to maintain anabolism, and 7-9 hours of optimized sleep with consistent timing and sleep hygiene protocols. In this video, I break down the complete daily protocol with exact timing, intensity targets, and execution details. You'll see what to do on rest days hour by hour, how to structure nutrition for maximum recovery, the sleep optimization checklist that makes the biggest difference, and how to monitor recovery status to know when you're ready for the next hard session. Most men over 60 rest passively and recover slowly. The elite 5% use this structured method and train more frequently with better results. 🌊 SURF 'N TURF 🏝️ -THE BORACAY ISLAND LIFE- image September 4, 1970, Jim Morrison, Max Fink, Frank Lisciandro and Babe Hill use the recess to venture off on a fishing trip in the Bahamas. Frank Lisciandro has his camera on hand and snaps a few photos of the group. image When people think of Jim Morrison, the legendary frontman of The Doors, the image that usually comes to mind is one of chaos and charisma - the leather-clad poet prowling the stage, spitting out verses like incantations, or the restless wanderer drifting through smoky bars and late-night streets in search of inspiration. His life, short as it was, seemed like a storm. Yet hidden within that storm were rare flashes of calm. One such instance, often overlooked in the mythology of Morrison, was the time he found solace in an unlikely place: a quiet fishing trip. image For Morrison, fishing was more than a pastime; it was a brief escape from the relentless noise of fame. The late 1960s had placed him under an unforgiving spotlight. Every lyric was analyzed, every performance scrutinized, every stumble reported. Even for a man who thrived on pushing boundaries, the intensity of public life could be suffocating. Fishing gave Morrison something the stage never could - silence. #jimmorrison #jamesdouglasmorrison #thedoors #thedoorsfans #jimmorrisonfans #jimmorrisonforever "Pure signal, no noise" Credits Goes to the respective Author ✍️/ Photographer📸 🐇 🕳️

"Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick" was named the 12th best single of 1978 by the writers of British music magazine NME, and by September 2017 it had sold over 1.29 million copies in the UK, making it the 114th biggest selling single of all time in the UK. The song features a brilliant 16-notes-to-the-bar bassline played by the legendary Norman Watt-Roy, and the saxophone solo in the instrumental break has Davey Payne playing two saxophones. #iandury, #theblockheads, #chazjankel, #normanwattroy, #daveypayne, #hitmewithyourrhythmstick, #newwave, #newwavemusic, #dailyrockhistory, #70smusic, #70srock, #ianduryandtheblockheads, #rockhistory, #thisdayinrock, #thisdayinmusic, #onthisday, #numberone, #number1 "Pure signal, no noise" Credits Goes to the respective Author ✍️/ Photographer📸 🐇 🕳️

🌊 SURF 'N TURF 🏝️ -THE BORACAY ISLAND LIFE- image Patrick Swayze with his beloved 1981 DMC DeLorean 12 image Actor Patrick Swayze famously owned and cherished a 1981 DMC DeLorean 12 Coupe The iconic stainless-steel car with gullwing doors was a beloved, personal vehicle for him, which he often drove, His 1981 model later sold for over $81,000 at a 2017 estate auction. 1981-1983 DMC DeLorean - Most notable for its appearance in the Back to the Future film series, and a little less so for its relatively underwhelming performance figures, the DeLorean DMC-12 may not have the ability to set your pants on fire during a hard drive, but it certainly will turn heads. Featuring a stainless steel body with those iconic gull-wing doors, the production delays and financial difficulties faced by its makers rendered it a little less exciting than it was originally billed to be – proven by its meager peak of 150 hp. So, while it isn’t a performance icon, it’s still super cool in its own way. "Pure signal, no noise" Credits Goes to the respective Author ✍️/ Photographer📸 🐇 🕳️
