I'm working on a new project that I hope will empower Bitcoin meetup organizers to ditch paying $175 a year for that service and instead use a nostr empowered website to replace it! The goal is building a site template that Organizers can fork on GitHub, edit the .env with their community's details and then deploy. The initial goal is to offer a site that provides communities with a blog page, events page and even a social groups page all powered by nostr events. If you want to see an early demo check out

This version doesn't yet include private events but does let you see your public calendar events on the calendar + search for public events you may want to RSVP to.
