#GM #nostr Let's talk about Pou and the quality of mobile games/apps Yesterday I took a look to my games folder in my mobile, and realized that I still have Pou, the little brown alien. A classic pet game in the beginning of the smartphones. While playing I realized one thing: How the mobile games industry have changed. Playing a few games in Pou I realized that there is no ads, not intrusive in-app purchases, simple music, games and scenarios. There is no hurry to achieve something. During the game your Pou will have some needs (eat, sleep, play). This needs are some limiters to you: If he is tired or hungry you can't play. That's the difference with the new videogames. Evey game have a lot of intrusive and non skipable ads, more and more goals to achieve all the time. Clearly this is provoked, if you have incentives to have the game opened, more ads you will see. After that, the only thing we can do as users it's two things: * Select the games/apps we will use * Select the time we spent We can control our time and decision, that's the key of self-control.

#GM #nostr Lately I've been thinking about relaxation, mental calm and concentration. I have realized that my style of life and the time I invest in rest is very poor. Not because I have a busy life, but because I didn't know where, how or when to rest, let the thougts a part, have a silene time for me. From the time I notice that, I have been more away from instantly dopamine attractions (It's been a week since I didn't opened Instagram). Not because I don't want to see the memes that my friends sends to me, but I prefer send they a message, talk about anything, meet in person. And while I have a busy life with work and a lot of tasks in the day, I use effectively the moments that I can rest. Like the way to work in the bus. No podcast, no music, not with the intention to sleep, just rest. After this, this video puped up in my youtube recomdations.
