Decided there was time to sneak in a 5k for the beginning of the month before everyone was out of bed, took it easy for the first part, then upped the pace to a healthy pace and managed an all time quickest mile. After getting through #bushido, really feeling like a sub 6 minute mile is a possibility…….. bit of a stretch target before the hips say no more.

Some random, likely too old callers making me feel rather uneasy before hearing about groups of older teens, doing racial stereotypes no favours by stealing unguarded sweets and knocking on random people’s doors. Maybe a sign of the times, with these guys literally having nothing better to do than stealing candy from kids and putting the shits up old ladies that live in their own. Ngl, will be a little more careful about locking gates and doors loving forward, waiting for the neighbourhood committee to pronounce some edict! Which while people inner house will hate, we could just have a few friends around for Halloween games, like i did in the 80’s!!! Super keen on building the local communities, but when there is no geographical barrier to stop “outsiders” exploiting community generosity, as with so many cases, something potentially beautiful will be destroyed. Time to look for an isolated hamlet of citadels to move to. Always ready in the background to support the eldest giving out stuff. Thank you Satoshi for the selfish act of solving the problem many thought was impossible, to be the one (or small group) of legends that will leave their mark on eternity. This that then allowed individuals, like me to truly be selfish, hold our own assets, control our property, be sovereign as we never could before. Then only once we have the opportunity to be selfish, we can then decide to engage in extended self interest by sharing those assets with those close to me, not as a selfless act, but to ensure elements of myself continue after I’m gone. This selfishness and the ability to choose this act is a virtue that those who attest to loving everyone, be selfless, actually love no one and (potentially) hate (can’t find peace with) themselves. Ga nostriches. Have a bit more work to do on my Weimar piece and quickly approaching the “so what” part. Yeah I can explain the processes and mechanisms that may have lead to hyperinflation in Weimar, connect it to today and maybe even outline how it might not actually play out the same way, but, what if………. Could I pursue a pelican brief style approach and go a little controversial? What might the weakest or at least a weaker but not critical country do if they were effectively turned on by larger nations? Would they find themselves in a similar situation at Weimar Germany, unable to trade and with money racing for the exit of the once GBP, profiteering and speculation happening everywhere . We saw a pre show in the 2022 gilt crisis, but this time, it could well and truly break the one Great British Pound, then bring all other nations back in line with the hard decisions to make (but at least we don’t have it as bad as those poor limeys).
