Gm nostriches, #coffeechain one dispatched, no.2 on the cards. Happy dad moment; making a bacon sandwich for my thirteen year old, who’d never eaten on before, until I offered her a £1 on weekend. Financial incentives can work and don’t have to turn into a recurring cost. Medium dad day ahead; after watching wicked last night, off to watch for good this morning. Just for the record, “the sexist man alive” really doesn’t do much for me and that whole vote raises so many questions…. In other news, saw this pic of a meeting to discuss an Ukraine peace plan, all I could think was “that’ll be a shittest remake of ‘reservoir dogs’ ever”!!! !

Gm nostriches, while Black Friday sales are in full swing in the Bitcoin market, take a moment to think about those poor/deluded “true north” guys, who told everyone willing to listen #mstr provided addition alpha on top of Bitcoin!!!! I had money tied up in accounts, I went heavy Mstr, but I didn’t sell any btc for it, but happy a checked out of some to solidify loss and held in gold for the last month of so. While we’re over 30% of all time highs in btc, those stock bros are down 60%. Volatility and “alpha” work both ways. A strong buy? Hmmm, given markets are currently closed and btc dumped last night, can see it falling even further. image

Imagine the chancellor, in a week’s time, realising that tax is not a means of raising money, but a means on positively incentivising behaviours that result in better lives of the individuals the politicians serve. Kind of reflects Peter Drucker’s view of a business, it is not to make a profit, rather if the business is successful, it will deliver the needs and wants of a customer, and as a side note and a measure of efficiency, a small profit might result. Ah yeah, I forgot, Rachel from complaints has never understood how businesses work. Citizens are cattle, people wanting to leave will have to pay what they owe. They must be milked and if they run dry, it’s time for a pound of flesh.

Ga nostriches, while this is a little treat to help my fingers not get hit so much while stamping my seedphrase (get it done freaks), realised this could also be part of my home defences for unwanted intruders. Guns are a big no in the UK, knives will likely be outlawed soon, so suppose it’s just gonna have to be a 2.5lb lump hammer to the face!!!!! On the plus side for them, they won’t bleed out and on the plus side for me, I won’t get done for murder if I slice an artery……….. always thinking my friends. image

Gm nostriches, rolling into a dark Thursday, with a night’s sleep that I would care to forget… 🥱 #coffeechain one completed, second cup already underway and it’s just turned 6. The Keynes book I can’t put down is on fire, the maths on saving and investment made zero sense (which strangely makes sense), but the solution he found in his finite wisdom “the fact that this might involve budget deficits was not important” The logic behind the connection between Keynesian economics and Keynesian politicians suddenly comes into crisp focus. #generaltheory

Woo hoo, net migration is less than they thought…. That must mean fewer people are entering the country……. Oh, more people are leaving the country than originally thought….. no mention made of the demographics of those leaving, but to state the obvious, they are likely mobile, capable and with resources. These aren’t the people a country wants to leave, these are the people who are keeping the corpse 🧟 moving. image

Down for the last 12 months, the corn a bought in May is now underwater and thought that was a pretty good buy on the way back from the April lows. Fortunately, @jack mallers has my back with money bag Monday, liquidity has been dry through October, none of the important narratives have been broken, Michael Burry has been wrong many times before and has been so wrong, he’s closed is fund. We got this bros, in 2020, there were multiple corrections of this size, it is just taking place on a slow timeframe this time. image

A bit bored in the fiat mine yesterday, had an idea for the next paper over the weekend on “why the hell did Keynes become quite so popular?”, the idea of opening up “a general theory” felt a little too much like “self harm”, so ended up carrying on with a “how do we learn about bitcoin?” paper. Searching papers, thinking about some theories, and then, as if out of nowhere, a theory lands on my lap, one I’ve hardly thought of for nearly 10 years, one a friend wrote about maybe 16 years ago, and not gonna lie, even for an academic piece, could be a bit of a banger. Gm freaks, #coffeechajn ready and able, reporting for duty!!! image
